An article from a 1991 edition printed in Mexico shows Cheap Trick’s promotional photo for the “Busted” tour which includes a Burst Hamer B12A 12-string bass. The article also mentions the 12:

“And Tom is also a handsome man, and he plays bass in a unique way and invented the twelve string bass that many musicians use today.”
