Flipside was a punk music fanzine published in the Los Angeles, California area from 1977 to 2000. Originally known as Los Angeles Flip Side, for the first two years the publication was produced by hand on a photocopier before achieving a large enough circulation to require offset printing.

The magazine was associated with its own record label, Flipside Records, which released vinyl records and compact discs beginning in 1978. For several years in the mid 1990’s Flipside hosted a Burning Man-style festival in California's Mojave Desert at a location known as Jawbone Canyon. It was much smaller than the Burning Man festivals and often featured bands that Flipside released on their own label. Special guests included Fugazi, The Offspring, and Hawkwind's Nik Turner.

The magazine has the idiosyncrasy of not including page numbers, which allows for the content to take up a greater amount of space on each page. This issue includes a two-page interview with Tom Petersson and Rick Nielsen of Cheap Trick. Petersson is pictured onstage with a Chandler Royale 12.
