This instructional DVD is a companion to Paul Gilbert’s album of the same name, and it primarily focuses on Gilbert’s guitar playing. The album is a collection of instrumental pieces, with Gilbert playing all the guitar and bass parts. He recorded the song ‘Twelve Twelve’ using a Hamer B12S 12-string bass. There is a short 2-minute segment where Gilbert shows how he played the bass part. Note: The 2-disc extended version of this DVD includes Gilbert playing live at the Hard Rock Cafe in Tokyo, Japan and includes the song ‘Twelve Twelve’, however for this show he is on stage by himself and is playing along with pre-recorded backing tracks.
