This concert was recorded live at the Majestic Theatre in Detroit, Michigan on February 15, 2000. Allen Woody played an 8-minute long bass solo to start the song ‘Set the Controls for the Heart of the Sun’ on his unique Yellow Musicvox Space Cadet 12-string bass. This solo is considered by some to be the greatest 12-string bass solo ever recorded.

This album consists of songs from various lives performances, all of which were recorded about the same time as Blue Floyd’s Live In Detroit album. While bassist Allen Woody is listed as playing a 12-string, we don’t hear any 12-string bass on this album, although it could be buried in the mix.
