An ad for Musicvox displays a Space Cadet 12-string bass. Also in regards to Musicvox, an article about Keith Urban includes a photo and paragraph about one of the guitars he used on his “Light The Fuse” tour in 2013, a Musicvox Spaceranger guitar that he nicknamed “Shroom”. Only four guitars of this design were produced in this limited edition.

The May, 1994 issue of Guitar Player Magazine includes an interview with Cheap Trick’s Rick Nielsen, and the 12-string bass is mentioned: “The boys from Rockford, Illinois - who celebrated their twentieth anniversary last year - are back with Woke Up With A Monster, the band’s first album for Warner Bros. Monster is pure sonic assault, with the Godzilla groove of ‘Girlfriends’ and the whirlwind ‘Let Her Go’ (which also boasts a ‘Dirty Deeds’ -like lead bass line from 12-string sultan Tom Petersson) fronting the attack.”
