Mötley Crüe - Entertainment or Death

Nikki Sixx played a variety of Hiroshi Kid’s 12-string basses with Mötley Crüe on their “Entertainment Or Death” tour. The Entertainment Or Death album was released in 1999 and includes some live recordings of performances from this tour, but the album also includes live recordings from earlier tours dating back to the early 1980’s.

The liner notes include two small photos of Sixx’s 12, including this photo which was included in the poster for this tour. The Kid’s basses are also noted in the equipment lists.

Given the quality of the live recordings it is not possible to be sure which songs were recorded with the 12-string bass, although “Dr. Feelgood” is a possibility.
