“My Friend Matt” Documentary Film

Released in 2021, My Friend Matt is a documentary film created by Canadian bassist / filmmaker Momo Laredo. The film tells the story of Laredo’s discovery of Musicvox Guitars and the man behind those innovatively designed guitars, Musicvox president Matt Eichen, which led Laredo to a renewed interest and success in the music industry.

The film is loaded with interviews with heavy hitters in the music industry, such as music media king Michael Molenda, Lars Mullen, and Paul Riario, plus musicians Abe Ovadia, Matthew Sweet, Ego Plum, Matt Mahaffey, and many more.
