Dynamite was a magazine for children published by Scholastic starting in March of 1974. It served as an activity book plus included recipes, games, magic tricks, and contests. Dynamite also served as a update on popular culture and featured articles about movie, television, and music stars.

Dynamite magazine was available through subscription, in limited quantities at newsstands, and through orders circulated by school teachers using Scholastic's Arrow Book Club. It was published monthly until 1984, then every other month. After circulation continued to decline, the final issue of Dynamite appeared in March of 1992. A total of 165 issues were published.

This issue includes a photo of Tom Petersson playing a Hamer B12A 12-string bass.
