Pyramid 12-String Bass Strings
Pyramid strings are made in Germany. Pyramid does not make a 12-string bass set in their regular product line but Martin Hense had custom sets made up for his music store, Martin’s Musik-Kiste, located in Kaltenkirchen, Germany. In addition to the standard string set that has fundamental strings paired up with two strings one octave up, Martin also offers a set where the ‘E’ and ‘A’ strings are in three octaves!

The description of these strings reads, “Fits our HENSE 12-string basses and all other Long-scale specials! E and A strings have 3 octaves each string. Stainless Steel Wound.”

Octaves: G .018p, D .025, A .035 and .016p, E .040 and .018p

The description of these strings reads, “Fits our HENSE 12-string basses and for all other long scales. Each string has 2 octave strings (ie, 3 strings per tone). Stainless Steel Wound”.
