This issue of Guitar Edge includes complete sheet music and tabs for Pearl Jam’s song “Jeremy”, which many bassists consider to be the best riff ever played on a 12-string bass. The text partly reads, “The song begins with bassist Jeff Ament playing Riff A on his 12-string bass. Ament’s 12-string bass consisted of four groups of three strings. Each group of strings is tuned as a standard bass (E - A - D - G), but within each group two strings are tuned an octave above the standard pitch.”
