Milan Bertosa writes, “Photo taken in a remote Hawaii mountain recording studio with the legendary Lyle Ritz. He’s playing my Hamer B12A 12-string bass on a version of the Beach Boys’ tune ‘California Girls’. Lyle played the ukulele on this song and decided to add bass. He locked his eyes on the Hamer and said ‘What’s that?!? Can I play it??’ Done.”
