Marcus Martini 12-String Bass
The Marcus Martini 12-string basses appeared about 2001 and are identical to the Galveston 12-string basses. Only the headstock inscription has been changed.
In this case, the Marcus Martini brand name was used without the proper authorization. It has been suggested that a retailer in Texas ordered these 12-string basses under this brand name. Only one run of these 12's was produced so possibly fewer than 20 exist.
The standard plain black knobs on this bass have been replaced.
