The Andromeda 12-String Bass by Rothstein Guitars and Tony Senatore

The new Andromeda bass is the first and only 12-string bass to offer the Buzz Feiten tuning system, incorporating a bone nut. This bass has a bolt-on neck. Tony Senatore writes, "I prefer the bolt-on sound--- it adds bottom to the 12, which tends to be a little bright."

Specifications:

Finish colors: A wide variety of finishes are available, including translucent dyes like this red color, sunbursts to candy apple red, ice blue metallic, etc.

Wood: Customer can select any type of wood. Ebony fingerboard. Quarter sawn maple neck with dual truss rods. Long scale. Gotoh tuners.

Pickups: Hand-wound Kent Armstrong pickups.

Electronics: Totally passive electronics, set up for full Stereo operation. Each pickup is directed to a separate output jack and has an independent volume control and 6-position varitone. Mono / stereo mini switch allows switching to mono mode when using one amp.

Electronics can be ordered with more traditional "Gibson" wiring style with vol / tone for each pickup instead of vol / varitone.

Constructed of all USA-made components.
