Hamer Monaco 12-String Bass

The Hamer USA custom shop has only produced a handful of Monaco 12-string basses. The Monaco body style has been popular with guitarists for many years, and Hamer also offers Monaco 4-string basses. The first Monaco 12-string bass was built in 2006.

2006 Monaco 12-string bass - black finish with bound body
This is the first Monaco 12 to be built.

2007 Monaco 12-string bass - Natural finish
This is the second Monaco 12 to be built.

This Monaco 12 has a mahogany body with a maple top. The neck is mahogany with a rosewood fingerboard.
EMG DC-35 pickups with a BTC pre-amp. The Monaco's have the B12A style headstock.
